If they are doing this to women who aren’t their wife, they get whatever they deserve. You had your fun, bub, now pay for it. If you wanted to encourage marriage, you would have men having ZERO obligations unless legally married.
Women need to have an incentive to marry early, rather than the current widespread practice of playing around during their 20's, in the expectation that they will get some sucker to marry their worn-out selves after they hit The Wall, and are no longer of interest to the handsome, exciting men they chased in their 30's.
