That’s right, ban backpacks from concerts, but not Mohammedans from your country. Western governments are committing hemispherical suicide.
If you figure in security costs to each concert now....I’d take a guess that ten Euro a person is now added onto each ticket from this point on.
I went to a company stock holder meeting in Frankfurt four weeks ago....six guys at the front door, with a magic wand and the full-up X-ray device for bags. This was just to get into a regular yearly stock-holder meeting within Germany.
Oh, backpacks! I wondered what was causing all the trouble. I’m glad that mystery is solved.
My first reaction re: concert security was to question the sanity of the staid Swiss in allowing entry of Bieber and Celine Deion along with their enourages for any reason.
Having watched events from the D.B. Cooper hijacking followed by Palestinian and radical Reds shooting at Isreal’s Lod arport, the increased “security measures” have all been illusions with great costs, enormous inconvenience, and degrading and humiliating searches of 99.9999% of its citizens. And like the Maginot Line totally ineffective against the inbreed sand peoples of the religion of peace. 50 years and counting of successive generations of politicians touting the next snake oil cure.
Time to stand back and tally up the number of dead, wounded, permanently disabled, and affected surving famiily members versus dead terrorists.
Fact is western civilization is losing the battle of attrition against the billion and a half insane unswerving adherents of the ROP.
Any talk of a “Ring of Steel” within a country’s borders is already an admission that the walls have been breached and invaders are free to murder, rape, and pillage at will. Custer, too, hand a ring of steel at Little Big Horn.
What they should be doing now is banning large crowds, as those crowds obviously anger their new arrivals.
...and I expect that soon, maybe in a few years.
“Good news! We’ve solved the symptom!”
A fair amount of explosives can be hidden under a baggy shirt. Shouldn’t baggy shirts be banned too?
But then who is to decide what is a “baggy” shirt, and what isn’t? Best if Europeans just stay home at all times, and quit all this concert nonsense.
Better idea: kick the mucking fuzzies the hell out of your country!
My impression is that the Manchester bomber didn't take the backpack into the venue.
More "punish the innocent" crap from our overlords.
Reminds me of a recent knife attack by a Moslem in an IKEA store. IKEA responded by taking the knives from their displays in the store.
Since due to political correctness, we aren’t allowed to say we have a problem with Islam or the Moslems, we instead focus on the knife, or the backpack, or other ancillary issues related to their slaughters, rather than the core issue.
