Although, I can see how referring to them as subjects could be construed as a cheap shot.
I didn’t take it for being critical.
They wore fake explosive devices, most folks were running away. Especially after Manchester. That’s probably why they weren’t gang tackled. If I was a beat cop who wasn’t allowed to wear a gun I think I would find a new job, the authorities obviously want you to die or something.
