Incredible the cruelty of some.
god luck with that. nice kitty.
We had one that lived under the front porch of our military housing in Wiesbaden, Germany. It was always neat to see it in the garden but it always scurried under the porch slab if you got close.
I will happily tie the noose...............
I honestly didn’t think we had hedgehogs here.
Neither did I. Especially since they cost $299 at the local pet store- my daughter wanted one and we would “visit “ the longed for creature occasionally. Just think of all the money someone threw away.
Fussy little things-room temp has to be at 70, we live in Minnesota and can’t afford to keep it that warm in the winter.
Hedgehogs are kind of tasty when slow cooked with lots of BBQ sauce. Don’t ask how I know.
When I lived in France we “caught” one and put it in our spare room and fed it etc. big problem: we never really got to see him much. Always hiding and asleep all day, even in captivity. We let him go free after a while.
One more reason to not get one. She’s just dying for an indoor pet (we have an outdoor dog) but our oldest has allergies/asthma so not pet dander allowed inside.
Me neither,. skunks, possums, foxes yeah.
Does the BBQ sauce eliminate the cloying earthworm flavor?
We don’t, at least none that are native... we were given armadillos, groundhogs and porcupines instead.
Armadillos are kinda cute, except for that leprosy thing.
