I guess I’m finally starting to slow down with age after hitting 50, I’ve always prided myself in keeping abreast of new music, not all of which is bad. Some of the “Chillout” sound is nice, I particularly like the electro-swing sound, Jordan Elgie, Andrew Applepie, Casey Neistat. But, when you start getting into intentionally speeded up sampled vocals, samples of dumb autotune pop music that I didn’t like in the original form, etc. they lost me. As far as dub reggae, I’ve been a fan of Israel Vibration since the 90’s and I see little that compares.
