To: Disestablishmentarian

The first time I specifically recall hearing the term “greenhouse effect” was in the 1973 film “Soylent Green.” However, I have a vague sense of knowing what the term referenced, so I must have previously heard of the concept. I was 13 years old at the time.

I looked it up, to scratch the itch in my memory.

Isaac Asimov’s “The Intelligent Man’s Guide to Science” (1965) described Greenhouse Effect.
