Yes, Clay is part of the Pell family in RI. He was an aspiring politician and she was the trophy wife. He made a run for Govenor and lost. He said stupid stuff on the trail that showed that he was a dope and then there was this incident were the couple lost their car. Not stolen, the two dopes literally did not remember where they parked their Prius. It was found many days later after a shop owner had it towed. He never recovered from that and never won the Dem nomination for Govenor. RI has had some dope politicians before, and Lincoln Chaffee comes to mind, but this guy was running a few quarts low.
So with now political career, they don’t need to be a couple anymore
