Me too! Been with USAA over 30 years - made a very passionate call and actually got a call back from the CEO. He told me the decision had nothing to do with outside pressure. He explained that it was a mistake that happened that caused them to advertise on Hannity in the first place. It’s their policy not to advertise on opinion shows, he said. I called BS because the also advertise on Maddow and Hardball.

The timing of the USAA advertising decision and the timing of the assault on Hannity are not coincidental.
Companies spending tens of millions of dollars on advertising (by some accounts USAA spends over $100 million per year) do not make “mistakes” on advertising. I have placed advertising for large corporations. The media plans are reviewed by many senior executives and the advertising agencies employed by the companies know the company policies. Before buys are made there are many signatures required. It is easier for you to walk down to your local bank and enter your neighbor’s safe deposit box without a key and without authorization, than it is for an advertising buy mistake to occur at a large corporation, particularly if the buy conflicts with company policy.
Very powerful forces are going to extraordinary lengths to squelch the Seth Rich story. Most conservative leaders and institutions are folding under the pressure. Why?
Glad I didn’t serve under that CEO. He would have left me on the battlefield to bleed and die if saving me made him late for cocktails.
