I cut the cord going on six years now, and don't miss it a bit. Cable is going to join the pay phone in the Museum of Things We Don't Have Anymore very soon.
That said, the destruction of the successful Fox News in such a swift and suicidal fashion is jarring to witness.

cable stations are dead as a doornail, they just don’t know it yet. Some enterprising person is going to start an Internet channel that will give people what they want. Not what the networks THINK we want. EFF them! Time to kill those dinosaurs once and for all.
