Let’s get something else straight: The Amish do not run their own websites. They hire “the English” to do their technology for them. It’s always helpful to know what you are talking about.

Yea. And based on my experiences in KS the Amish have no problem bumming a car ride, using your telephone or using a small Ford tractor with a cab containing 8 people to get around town.

Don’t get me wrong, they are a peaceful people and generally mind their own business but they tend to play their religious proclivities when it is to their advantage.

Regarding their horses.. They tend to be be worn out old race horses and they are generally not well taken care of...poor condition.
