Democrat party.
All my life it's been the Democrat Party, Democrat platform, Democrat politician. It's only been the last few years I've noticed the "ic" (ick?) being added to the end. It's pervasive. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed this.
Since the Hill-Billy Presidency I've referred to it as the demonRAT party.
