1950s TV shows were great as the cartoons were the best quality from the 1930s-1960s. Popeye, Bosco, Bugs Bunny, Heckle and Jeckle, The best the studios, WB, MGM, King Features, Terrytoons. had to offer.
Then they went to crap with cheap animation from the Hanna and Barbara garbage factory. When H&B made cartoons for MGM they were GREAT!
Disney still made great cartoons then he had the audacity to die in 1966. His cartoon legacy slowly began to fade.
Tom and Jerry Cartoons from the 1940s were the best ever.
