Growing up, the men I was conditioned to admire were tough, strong, principled, reliable, upstanding, honest. Cowboys, George Washington, my great-grandfather in a black and white photo with his silver star pinned to his uniform, etc. When you consider the sheer vulgarity of the consumption of pornography, a man reduced to a sweating, lusting animal, secretively, furtively watching two humans rut like beasts...It is so utterly antithetical to the admirable qualities of good men. It shreds and ruins their dignity as men, who are supposed to rise up as protectors and providers, not sink down to their lowest impulses.
Nobody really understands the effects of free instantly available porn on society that technology now allows, at least to my understanding. It’s something that hasn’t happened before, at least the ease and convenience part on this simply massive scale. I have a hard time imagining it is a good thing for society.

Seems like we are way beyond ‘furtively watching’, the younger crown are taking video and sharing it around, sending each other this stuff. I am glad these capabilities weren’t around in my younger days for sure.
