They need funding for their sanctuary city.
That really is a big problem, and one that is playing out all over neighboring NJ as well. They’ve imported hordes of foreigners, and many Americans and their employers have fled; this leaves less and less people and companies kicking in tax revenues, and the trafficked foreigners contribute very little while demanding everything.
Here in NJ it is really coming to a head over school funding; Americans (often childless) don’t want to pay for foreigners’ unionized babysitters while “the children” are indoctrinated to hate everything about our WASP culture and people.
