I, too, have “the Gift”.
In spite of it, some disciplines are quite easy for me.
On my way to a doctorate, I instructed gross, neuroanatomy and histology.
After that program, I went to “vocational” school and completed a surgical residency.
I am now a retired Chief of a major regional hospital and spend my time amusing myself, on the lanai, translating Cicero and Virgil.
Oh, well...
The next deficit to correct is Attic Greek (self-taught) and Homer.
I don’t bother anyone except the Love of my Life and she understands (sometimes).
