I had one and what they can do nowadays is a miracle. It took me a year to get over it though. You’ll feel much better. The only thing I regret is that I can’t run distance anymore.

Yup...this upcoming one will be my second.and you're right,"before and after" are like night and day.The surgeon says he's gonna use a different approach,,,a newer one.Less pain,quicker recovery he says.He's a senior surgeon at a large,well known hospital so I have full confidence.

After my first one I contacted the hospital's billing department for a detailed accounting of the bill they sent to the insurance company.They charged them $17,000 just for *the hip itself*...just the piece of metal.
