They tolerated his bombast and guns, but....THAT level of honest patriotism was just too much for Those People.

Many people don't understand how "Those People" censor the movies that you watch.

I could never figure out why one of my favorite movies, The Postman, didn't do so well and got trashed by the critics.

It's because it's VERY patriotic.

Those people want you to see downer movies like ‘American Beauty’ and ‘Pleasantville’ that mock and denigrate traditional American culture.

Postman was a good movie.

IMHO-—”The Postman” is an excellent book, but many were disappointed that the movie used the name, but very little else from the story.
