We have a Jack Benny...Our Miss Brooks...Box Thirteen, which I love, it’s a great concept for an OTR program...and ending with Suspense. That is a solid lineup!

I heard a "Life With Luigi" this week and paid special attention to Pasquale (Alan Reed).

Yep. Fred Flintstone.

I’m wondering if I’ve heard a Life With Luigi...

Given the fake Italian accents, I’m surprised anyone hears it nowadays!

I think it was on Zoomer radio (740 AM), but could’ve been on the Hamilton Ontario station (900 AM) that I listen too.

It’s good or bad?

It can be good. Luigi (J. Carroll Naish, who looked Italian even though he was of Irish distraction) is a simple good-hearted recent immigrant to America.

Pasquale is his blustery landlord who tries to take advantage of him.

The funniest reoccurring routine is Pasquale trying to marry off his chubby daughter Rosa to Luigi.

That sounds like a must listen. Will do so this week thanks. Nothing new in my OTR world, just listening to the classics on various streams...

They recently scheduled one that I'd never heard of before -- Dr. Sixgun, a 1950s series about a frontier doctor "with a sixgun on one hip, and a medicine bag on the other."

I didn't hear the episode, but the premise seems kind of hokey.
