Hollywood has become McDonalds. In an effort to appeal to massive international audiences, movies have become mediocre, neither bad but not really good either. At my age, I long ago stopped going to the theaters, preferring instead to watch movies at home but lately, I don't even do that. Nothing looks good.

It's not that I am engaging in any sort of political boycott against Hollywood, it's just that their product of endless reboots and sequels have stopped being interesting.

These days my wife and I will just find a TV series we hadn't watched before to binge on. Lately it's been Game of Thrones. Hours upon hours of entertainment that looks good on my 65" 4k.
