Honestly I’m surprised the margin here in MI wasn’t greater.

I saw less than a handful of signs for The Shrill in maybe 150 square miles out here in the far west side of the Detroit suburbs. To be sure the turnout was far greater for the dems than they displayed publicly, they were not happy.

And between the two college towns of Ann Arbor and Lansing put Bernie over Hillary in the primary, knew it was over then.

Michigan is unfairly labeled a blue state, purple often yes. Sadly the large urban areas can overwhelm the entire state in national elections but those populations have dwindled in recent years.

In spite of the ghetto areas of Detroit, Flint, Pontiac, Inkster, Romulus, Kalamazoo, Saginaw, Hamtramck, Jackson and many others - as well as large liberal enclaves such as Ann Arbor and Lansing, I’d say we are doing pretty good in MI:

Mi has a republican President of the United States.

MI has a conservative, republican backed State Supreme Court.

MI has a republican Governor.

MI has a republican Lieutenant Governor.

MI has a republican State Senate.

MI has a republican House of Representatives.

MI has a republican Attorney General.

MI has a republican Secretary of State.

MI has a republican congressional margin by a 2:1 ratio.

MI is a right-to-work state.

;-)

I thought it would be a slightly greater margin as well; judging from PA and Ohio, I believe it was.

Voter fraud may have been considerable in the democrat controlled areas of Detroit, I think they found a lot of irregularities there early on in the recount.

For the first time since Reagan's second election, I'm proud of my State's vote........:-)
