It's been a wet cold spring here near the southern reaches of Puget Sound, and still is. Heavy thunder and hail today that turned everything white, rather uncommon in this neck of the woods. If I hadn't put my 10 tomato starts in the wood shed, they would have been shredded.
A few of our 90+ Rhododendrons are waking up, one English variety is already finished. Madrona and dogwood trees are in full bloom.
If it doesn't warm up soon, growing corn will be a waste of time this year.

I start my corn in the green house and transplant to the garden near the end of May here on Humboldt Bay...
