You have actually asked the most pertinent question. It has nothing to do with skin color or anything else but culture. We have rejected God in this country and HIS values. We are reaping the whirlwind and it is just the start of the harvest...
I know a black woman from Kenya who is a registered nurse and very articulate. She once told me that she is embarrassed by much of what she sees in black American “culture.”
Did anyone lose their weaves?
Yup.
Black immigrants from the Carribean Islands have some of the highest incomes in NY city. One Black immigrant was heard to say, "Isn't America great, all you have to do is work hard and you'll get rich."
Dog bites man is not shocking.
“Im torn between making the same decision to HS or Private Christian School.”
I homeschool my youngest, but my oldest goes to a Baptist High school (he and I cannot work together and I stopped homeschooling him in 6th, he has been at Christian school since). He gets PLENTY of liberal indoctrination at his southern Baptist high school. Homeschool if at all possible is my best advice.
Sadly you were right, the same feral pack of animals. There used to be some pride in black families and it still exists in some, but many show no pride, no level of civility or rational behavior and they justify any level of violence against anyone from an infant to the elderly all because of their perceived slights. If you want respect, earn it. If you want your reputation to be 180 degrees from what it is, earn it. The balls in your court.
When growing up back in the 70’s/80’s my Dad always told us there are good black people and bad ones just like whites. But he then said you NEVER EVER give an inch if they push you, if you give an inch they will demand an mile. In school we played sports with blacks, sat with them at school events, they even drove with us to ballgames, we got along fine except for one incident with my younger brother.
One guy in particular pushed the chip on the shoulder, you owe me crap with my brother and my brother pushed back just as hard, long story short the black guy threw the first punch and got his butt stomped and the other black guys we ran with said you asked for it and you got it.
