metmom you can’t just take the comment in isolation. It was my response to another female Freeper’s hostile comment to men going to Thailand or Russia for brides. These women are not hung up about a man’s looks and they will treat him well. As a bonus there a plenty of thin, young and attractive women to choose from. It’s a buyer’s market for men.
But point taken about the men looking worse as the years go on. Fortunately women are also easily pleased with money, status and a man’s character in addition to a man’s good looks or lack thereof. So +1 for the older balding guys with a beer belly!
Russian women treat men well? What planet does this come from? They marry American men because they think they’re saps; they do it for citizenship and because they think American men are loaded.
Asian women are thought to be sweet and docile because they are small and fragile in appearance. More deception (although not their fault - it’s guy’s stupidity).
