And I don’t actually feel real hate for anything, at most it is an abstraction. I “hate” liberals because they will ultimately destroy this country and threaten the physical security of my family.
I do date. I simply won’t marry. I dumped one because I got one-part-per-million scent of crazy off of her.
And I don’t project anger onto anyone. I spent over 7 months densensitizing myself to emotions. (a complicated process) I actually FEEL no emotion anymore. I can watch anything now, and feel nothing. (One part of desensitizing was watching stuff like people being burned alive on Liveleak.com — hundreds of times — until I felt nothing while watching.)
Another part was educating myself as to how romantic love (and many other emotions) is just an illusion, projecting yourself onto someone else.
So far I’ve made two women fall in love with me since 2016, and I felt absolutely no more emotion towards them than a rock would. I’ve just gotten good at pretending.
How the tables have turned, LOL. Romantic love is nothing more than them projecting their own emotions onto me like film onto a movie screen. It is something they invent, just like when I loved my wife.
It isn’t real. And I have become the Cave in Plato’s Allegory of the Cave.
Feeling no emotion...and pretending, though it may ‘work’ for you in some fashion, it doesn’t seem to me to be an authentic way to live. As if you’ve amputated an important part of what it means to be fully human.
Funny, I chose the opposite (in order to survive - thrive, really), not avoiding, but forcing myself to go through the stages of healing. To ‘drink the utter dregs’ of the experience as it were.
