Over the winter a guy with a bad past broke into our church in New Hampshire. Pastor worked with prosecutor to get the man into a program instead of jail.
This Sunday the same man showed up at church, was forgiven, and accepted Christ as his savior.
Look for opportunities wherever they present themselves!
This is the kind of anecdote I was hoping to see with this story but didn’t have any examples. Once, a teenager broke into my house at night and I cornered him with a Bowie knife. I wasn’t going to stab him but I thought his fear of meeting God would have a greater life-changing impact than explaining His love for us. Kids can be stupid. Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do.
