All 5 of the Keating 5 should have gone to prison. McCain got a slap on the wrist by his friends in the Senate. Then Papa Bush bailed out all the crooked S&L owners by creating the Resolution Trust Corporation to buy the bad loans. And his son Neal was in it up to his neck.
Along comes little boy Bush ten years or so later and does the same thing when billions more in bad loans started to crumble. And again, no one went to prison and the tax payers picked up the tab.
