It’s not so specific as that. Most agents are loyal to “the boss” Comey and they feel like their agency is the last law enforcement entity that is above reproach. They feel like Comey doesn’t play sides and that his firing is politically motivated due to Flynn.

Basically a lot of agents are just too much in their own bubble or too blinded to see what the rest of freepers and conservative america is witnessing right in front of them. Kind of like how when elected officials end up living in DC so long they forget what their constituents really believe back home.

That’s essentially what’s happening right now at FBI

Is incompetence by letting off the hook a serial felon like Hillary Clinton enough to create doubt at the FBI?

I disagree.

Like all federal agencies the FBI was politicized and corrupted by the Obama administration and some bad people were moved into the agency.

But most agents did not trust Comey and thought he was dirty.
