The insurance company you are dealing with (Accesss) appears to have a shady rep. They are low-balling you, and you will get a far better settlement dealing with your own insurance. Use your insurance company. Pay the $500 deductible and get your car fixed right. Your insurance company will go after Access (assuming you have a good insurance company). Once they get paid, they will refund your deductible. They will NOT raise your rates. This is why you pay for insurance.
