“David Sinclair has been reverse-engineering the aging process for two decades.”

David Sinclair, now in his early twenties, has been reverse-engineering the aging process for two decades.

I personally think aging and death are kind of a gift to Society. If not for that, people like the Clintons and Bushes would never let go.

Life may be extended a little from good genes, healthy habits and medical breakthroughs but death is certain for all humans on earth. How many people even make it to a 100? Very few and I’m not desiring it Lord willing.

Gee, that's strange. You mean that you want your body to slowly descend into decrepitude, and your mind to slip?

What objection could you possibly have to people reaching the age of, say, thirty-five, and then remaining in that state of physical and mental fitness for, say, another four or five centuries (until - as statistics demand - they eventually suffer a catastrophic accident, like burning up on re-entry)?

Regards,

For starters it’s MetforMin not MetforNin. Geeze. It’s repeated like that 6,7-8 or more times. If I headed the FDA I’d insist they start their proposed ‘study’ with demolishing their spell checker.

I don’t take this too seriously considering that metfornin does not exist. The medicine for type two diabetes is metformin (glucophage) and weight loss along with regular physical exercise has been proven to be more beneficial than metformin. This may be a case of consistently misspelling metformin but that would seem to indicate extreme carelessness. Or maybe they are using autoincorrect.

Aging is not a disease. It is part of being a living organism.

I personally think that humans will eventually find a way to cheat death. It may be biological, or it may be technological (making us into cyborgs). But it will eventually happen. When it does, the Elite will want to use the technology to cement their power forever. Or at least until they get tired of it (which may take hundreds of years).

“This may be a case of consistently misspelling metformin”

I think that is the case. It is metformin to be used in the trial.

You will notice the correct spelling of Metformin.

Is this OUTRAGE all about a TYPO? Sheesh! (sorry, I realize that “sheesh” is not a real word)

God limited the lives of human beings to 120. No one lives past that. (I know they say one person lived to 122 but if only one did. There may be an error.) Almost everybody who gets to 117 dies before 118. It seems to be a wall.

Also this drug seems to lower blood sugar. With diet and exercise working better. I suggest a low carb diet may do better. Just stop eating sugar and corn anything or flour. Then you get the same affect. You body becomes very good at controlling blood sugar.

Humans have found a way to cheat death and live forever. It involves faith in Jesus Christ. I would not want to extend my life here by a hundred years I am weary of tragedy war illness and sorrow. I would far rather depart and be with my Lord.

This is not necessarily a good thing. Can you imagine a hitler or Iranian mullah that had decades longer to commit their evil? ISIS jihadis that live for a century growing more experienced and more evil? There is a reason God has limited our lifespans here.
