OAK PARK HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) It sounds like a scene out of a horror movie: A Minnesota mom and her kids unsuspectingly move into a house full of snakes.
While it may sound hard to believe, its the frightening reality for a family left with few options after buying what they once considered the perfect home.

One of my sister lives next to the Mississippi river next to a small gravel pit.
The excess gravel was push down the river bank. Over the years brush and trees grew thru the gravel. Perfect breading ground for snakes.
One day I am fishing and decide to go thru the brush and trees for a better spot.
I nearly stepped on a gazillion garter snakes!
Indiana Jones would have fainted.
Dang. I wish there were snakes all over my house! I've noticed however that while it was always extremely rare for me to find or catch a snake, people that hate them and kill them on sight seem to find them continually.
Pansies.
