Let's say "Don" runs for Class Pres. and motivates the electorate (classmates) to vote for him overwhelmingly on the basis of changing the curriculum to emphasize math and sciences and to allow for expanded class schedules for those who may have part-time jobs in the mornings or evenings.
The powers that be - teachers, administrators say: "Isn't that special how Don has really got into this - he has a future as a politician!"
Then once Don is elected he goes to his first School Board meeting and lays out his plans to implement his platform.
Superintendent Soros says: "Don, we really appreciate all you have done - you really got the kids fired up - but, in truth the curriculum is fixed and any variance might get us in trouble with the State Accrediting authority (banks)...and changing hours for teachers would have to be approved by the teachers Union.
Secretary Sandy then chimes in and says: "But on the positive side Don...you can pick the theme for the Spring Dance :-)

North Korea.
Trump and Tillerson and Mattis are navigating this swamp perfectly.
If you are not drilling down into this issue, you are wasting your time here.
North Korea is part of the job. The GOP and Trump caved.
Which is pretty stupid thought considering the President is the one can shape the direction of one of the branches of government -- the courts and Supreme Court.
Trump has also cut billions in regulations and worked to save and bring jobs to the US.
And, BTW, he's commander-in-chief.

Trump is serving this country well by taking a chainsaw to various executive branch agencies to roll back an agenda that started at least fifty years ago. If he does nothing else he will have served this country well.
The cherry on top is the Supreme Court. I suspect he’ll impart a conservative direction to the court that will last long after he leaves office.
It’s all good.
