I don’t watch any more, either. They have made a series of casting blunders that rendered it unwatchable. First they had to have a woman boss, then a black boss, then they brought in not one nerd, but three. Firing Ziva was a stupid move, as was selecting that blonde dishrag to replace her. Then they let Tony go.
Just one stupid blunder after another.
Money, money, money. That’s the real reason. They are milking it for the last few drops before killing it.
I have to admit that you’re right about the show now. Putting on O’s wife was sort of my last straw. I buy the DVDs for vidding, but can’t really watch it anymore. But I’m still excited by NCIS-LA. And I really miss JAG.
The original lineup with Sasha Alexander was good.
Adding Cote de Pablo as Zhiva David was pure genius.
She was the perfect foil for Weatherlys DiNozzo. Plus her expressions and mannerisms were original and added to the character.
Adding the new morgue assistant was also good. It gave Ducky someone to play off and developed into a good character.
Pretty sure D'nozo wanted to expand his horizons some and chose to go be the lead actor on "Bull". So far so good.
Speaking of tv though; has anyone caught the new Showtime tv series called "American God"? The first show came on the other night and so far it is all over the place with lore, blood and guts, drama, and a story line one needs to pay close attention to get and even then may not. It may be one of those worth binge watching once the season is over with but in the meantime I'm going to keep watching it then probably binge watch it at the end of the season.
All I can really say about it is it's the most different show I can remember seeing. I can't even put it into one genre. One of the lead actors was also a lead in "Carnivale" and it has a similar flavor but very different at the same time. Another lead actor was on "The 100" and now I know why he was killed off. Better to be a lead in a new show than to be a supporting (sometimes) actor in a current one I guess.
