True story: I was a cook at a Pizza Hut as a teen in the early '80s, and we were getting ready to close up. BUT, an older fellow came in shortly before closing and seemed in no hurry to head out. I put a quarter in the juke box, and picked the flip side of John Lennon's "Starting Over". The flip side was Yoko Ono's "Kiss Kiss Kiss". The poor customer paid is bill and headed out posthaste.

For youths, the Barry Manilow marathon was almost as effective (a previous manager had the juke box guy load the machine with BM 45s. nine songs for $1)
