I didn't need to Google. I BOUGHT the Elton John Band's Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, and the credit to Dr. O'Boogie is right on the label. It was widely known that Lennon played on it, just as Elton John played on Lennon's #1 "Whatever Gets you Through the Night" and Ringo Starr's less successful "Snookeroo".
