Too bad the backstabbing RINOs do not fear the constituents in their respective districts. And until that happens, things won’t change.
what would be lost by a trump veto? seemingly nothing of serious importance...
which would be better a signed veto o pocket veto?
art of the deal. It’s 8-D chess
My suggestion is that we devastate the republican party in the primary season by getting rid of anyone associated with Paul Ryan, Lindsey Graham, john McCain and the Bush family. even if it means we lose control of either house or senate because control means nothing if they are not on board with issues like the wall, tax reform, and ending all vestiges of Obama care
I cast my last vote for a Republican candidate last November.
His biggest enemy is the same enemy as always, the uniparty, which has no desire to give up the doling out of a trillion in pork.
We get the kabuki theater of ‘pro life vs ‘choice’, or LGBT vs families, or squishy on socialism and Islam vs anti communism and anti-Islamofascism, and RKBA vs ‘Gun Control’ - issues of heartfelt importance to many, but no one on either side of any of those issues who actually sucks off the taxpayer teat wants to cut one cent from the pot they (collectively) have to play with.
I’m sorry my friends and fellow good-intentioned Freepers, but I can’t help but chuckle at some of the posts I’m reading on this thread. Do you guys REALLY truly believe there is a 2-party system in the District of Corruption? Really? Seriously? Come on....surely you guys cannot be that fricking naive. Just look at their actions: No wall, continued funding for PP, no OC repeal. It’s really the platform of just one Party, folks and it’s the UniParty. It’s run by the elite globalists/socialist/communists; not the American People. The so-called “Democrat & Republican” parties are nothing more than fake fronts and theatre for the “unwashed masses”....in case you’re wondering who that is; that’d be us. The UniParty literally rules over us as tyrants, we have no voice and haven’t had one for years. Regardless who we elect, they will continue to tyrannical rule over us and they’re not gonna give it up...ever. Trump was a fluke that wasn’t supposed to happen. They’ll rid themselves of him rather quickly at the first opportunity....one way or the other. Even with a strong leader forming an alternate Conservative party, they’ll just take him/her out...one way or the other. That’s the reality now as ugly as it is. We either get used to it or find a strong leader to start a new party.
My rant is over...flame away.
Not inspired. Try again.
My hopes for Trump were that he would be the Pinochet that we require if we are to get the Republic back. Constitutional procedures cannot get it back because they require Congress to co-operate which cannot happen. Congressmen do not represent their voters. Their major income and future prospects come from the companies who lobby them and the billionaires. They will not buck them. The best we can get from Donald Trump if he continues to “work with Congress” is a regulatory and maybe a tax reduction that gives us a few years of prosperity. Then that will all be chipped away just as Reagan’s tax and regulatory reform was chipped away by those who came after him. This time I fear the erosion will be faster and will be terminal. Congress is not going to make the mistake it made with Reagan which was to pass major constructive legislation. The globalists will not allow that again.
agree 10,000%
Good post.
Interesting that 1.1 trillion used to cover one year...now only 5 months.
