Franchisee sent a non-apology apology letter, but no mention of anybody getting fired. I believe an earlier story said the manager that instigated it was actually the Franchisee's business partner. The correct response from the Franchiser should be that the offensive partner be removed or lose the franchise, which could very well be the result of a customer boycott anyway.

They pulled the apology from my original source. I found this
Within three hours, David Harris, the stores owner, posted an apology. He promised to investigate and terminate anyone employed that doesnt share our RESPECT of ALL law enforcement.
