It sounds like it wasn’t even a speech, just an interview.
A speech requires many hours of preparation, edits, re-writes, practice, timing etc. An interview focuses on Obama’s best attributes...just showing up.

I wonder if those who write the history will be less fawning than those who wrote the news. now that he is out of office, there is a chance they'll finally print the truth.
it's a small chance though. the people that slanted the news are often the same people that write the history.
