Actually, that’s not their argument. Their argument is that pit bulls were bred for blood sports
such as bull-baiting and bear-baiting. They are good at it.They have musculature and mind-set to attack without warning and ignore all efforts to halt their attack. These blood sports continue in the US, in secret enclaves where monstrous people love to watch them fight to the death, and in streets, homes, schools etc. where yet another “pittie” “got out” of his yard, home, car etc.
I think your best bet would be to assert that we should give you a few hundred years to cross breed sociopathic murders with people of unusual physical strength and stamina and take the most successful killers and sell their pups. You’d put little baby bibs and pacifiers on their collars and tell the public that these were natural born “nanny dogs”. Tell the public that only cry babies don’t want to live in neighborhoods where dogs bred to fight and kill bears routinely escape and threaten the pets, children and adults.
You hide behind an utterly anonymous user page, devoid of all personal meaning, as if you’re afraid to reveal who or where you are.
Maybe it really is an issue of fear, as Wardaddy said.
Search Dogsbite.org to read about all the pitt bulls the police shoot or run over with their cars to halt attacks. Note the number of reports that stress the heavy gauge ammo combined with multiple shots required to stop the animal.

Problem with Chihuahua’s is you can never tell if it’s biting you or not. I had one attack my leg, I think. It’s teeth got stuck in my pantleg and we had to gently free him as he growled his mighty death threads. Pitt bulls will remove massive chunks of flesh and limbs so it’s much easier to tell when they attack you.
YAY!!!!!!!
Maybe I don’t need to make everything about me. Maybe I address the content of the page and the ideas expressed therein. You arrive on threads of various content and end up talking about yourself, directing people to check your vanity web page, and post pictures of your dog wearing a Santa suit on an OP featuring yet another horrific killing of pitt bull owner.
I had no idea that you have devoted so much time to following me around, watching everything I do or say.
How...creepy.
I don’t follow you around, I find you on a wide variety of threads over the years and you are always focusing the discussion on yourself, posting pictures of your dogs, profile etc. One doesn’t have to follow you, one has to work to avoid you and your displays of self-interest.
You sure don’t seem to be trying awfully hard.
/creepy
LOL, good one.
:)
They think the dog may have been radicalized at obedience school.
If that is the case, she needed to put the dog down. It’s very hard to do this. I just put my own dog down today because of sickness and old age. Part of me inside died with her aND I hope I see her again in a better world.
A pit bull?
Wow, yet another mere coincidence.
I am so sorry for your loss. Over time, might it help to remember that you gave her a good life and loved her completely and she knew it? Again, please accept my condolences.
It may not have been the case after all. I went to go grab text from the OP and paste it in a post to myself on this thread and I can’t find it. I’ve been accessing many pit bull attack articles today for research for my responses and I think I accidentally confused one of those stories for this one. My apologies.
Wait. It was correct. I found more information about the OP attack on Dogsbite.org. WARNING: No pictures of wounds but part of the description of the attack may be memorably graphic.

” In addition to attacking (a) husky two years ago, WFMZ learned that a man’s grandson was bitten in the face by the same dog several years ago.”
“Ottinger also stated that Green’s dog was a pit bull, as opposed to a “mix” variety. “It was a pit bull. They’re pretty strong dogs,” she said. Even after witnessing the horrible attack and seeing Green lying motionless in the bloody aftermath, Ottinger hoped she might survive. But that was not the case after Green’s pit bull of two-and-a-half years suddenly attacked and executed the killing bite. “
