Julia also won the John W. Campbell Award science fiction writing award. The 8th music video I ever made, back in 1984, was made to one of her Star Trek songs. I was able to show her my work in that fandom and, years later, she came up to my room with the man who played Blake in Blakes 7, Gareth Thomas, to see songs I'd done of hers to his show. I heard later she sang for him in the bar and brought him to tears. Her work is really wonderful. Besides writing songs, she wrote professional novels. If I'm not mistaken, she was professionally, among other things, a coroner.
