Many Christians won’t get on their knees even once a month for Christ our Lord

They shouldn't. Because the bible says do not worship Jesus.

John 20:28,31

"And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

..this is written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."

Friend then I would pray that you and I are the last people on Earth to stand, I will forever bend my knee and worship the Word made flesh, and I know who and where that spirit resides that would tell us to do otherwise,

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24

“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: . . “ John 14:17

“Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.” Exodus 20:2-6

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15

“Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.” Nehemiah 9:6

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:1-5

“Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. And Jesus said, For judgement I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.” John 9:35-39

“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.” Revelation 3:9

“And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.” Revelation 5:8

"The Father and I are One."

"Before Abraham came to be, I AM."

Christ often, in His earthly life, refused honors which were actually His by right.

For instance, He consistently rebuffed those who wanted to make Him king, even though He actually WAS their true and lawful king and heir to David's royal throne.

He likewise concealed His messiahship, often telling his closest disciples to "tell no one.""

The same pertains, I think, to His equality with God. St. Paul says, Jesus did not consider equality with God something to be "grasped," but emptied Himself out, taking the form of a slave.

But that does not mean that this refusal of honors, and this almost inconceivable abasement, would last forever. The book of Revelation is full of divine honor being given to the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and Him being seated on the throne with the Father, being worshiped and adored.

"Seated at the right hand of the Father" means that as God He and the Father are co-equal; as Man, He is the highest being in the created Universe. He is one divine Person who, by His nature, shares, with the Farther and the Holy Spirit, the Godhead of the Blessed Trinity.

In His life on earth, Jesus rebuffed kingly, messianic and divine honors. Now, we rightly adore Him.
