Why boil an egg when you can fry it in butter?
We may be mis-interpreting this entirely, anyway. Don’t the English poach their eggs and eat them in the shell from a cup? I’ve seen raging wars on how easy it is to screw up poached-in-the-shell breakfast eggs.
