Has OLED solved the burn in factor yet? (images get burned into the screen like logos etc)
OLED is awesome for deep rich blacks, AND for viewing at any angle- LED’s suffer from angle viewing- colors go flat- tones go flat etc-
We’re still using CRT TV- can’t beat it for viewing at any angle and deep blacks- although OLEDS I Belleville are close- maybe a little better- Reason we didn’t get OLED was because of the logo burn issue- that was years ago- and the fact that over time the colors and blacks fade a bit-
I never heard of the OLED having a burn factor? My understanding is that was early Plasma TVs having that issue. Oh and with some CRT-TVs too.
My 4k does not matter what angel you view it. It’s all the same view just like the old CRT-TVs.
“Reason we didnt get OLED was because of the logo burn issue- that was years ago- and the fact that over time the colors and blacks fade a bit-”
I think you mean to refer to plasmas. Interestingly, plasmas had a longer half-life than CRT’s and CRT’s are also subject to burn-in.
“OLED is awesome for deep rich blacks, ...”
Racist. ;-)
