Yes, probably even more. When you live autism in and out every day you start picking up on all the people that really are the spectrum.

I have become much more tolerant of screaming children in the grocery store now that I know about autism. Yes that kid might be a spoiled brat or there may be another reason.

Exactly. Not only am I extremely tolerant, I try to befriend moms who are going through that new fear that something might be “wrong” with their child. I also adore kids with less severe autism because they are so observant and I love how they see the world. I get on well with them and have worked with them (not just my own).

But let’s be real. Life WITHOUT autism would be much easier.
