FULL TITLE: Disgraced Patriots star and convicted killer Aaron Hernandez, 27, hangs himself in prison on the day his former teammates are due at the White House to celebrate their historic Super Bowl win

Disgraced NFL star Aaron Hernandez has committed suicide just days after he was acquitted of a 2012 double murder, and on the same day that his former teammates are scheduled to be honored at the White House for their recent Super Bowl win.

The convicted killer's death is a final slap to the team that gave him so much, making him a millionaire and one of the brightest stars in the NFL after he was selected by Bill Belichick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

That success and fame mattered little however to Hernandez, whose life was instead fueled by vengeance and revenge.

The former tight end and father of a four-year-old daughter was found hanging in his cell at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Massachusetts.

He did not leave a note.

Hernandez, 27, was already serving life in prison without parole for the shooting death of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd in 2013.

Should I care? Ok, there, I just cared a bit. For the guards who had to clean up the mess.

More likely murdered;I just don’t believe these jail suicides that are always too convenient. If even one-tenth are truly suicides I’d be shocked.

I'm not the least bit sad at all. He was an utterly remorseless, stone cold psychopath, and the world is a better place without him in it. As an added bonus, our bankrupt country doesn't have to take care of the creep for the next 40+ years.

And he almost certainly committed those other murders too despite being acquitted (just like O.J.

That guy was a bad seed. Cold blooded killer. Now he’s telling God his side of the story.

He was in prison for murder he committed to cover up the one he just got acquitted of because there was no evidence. He could have been going to the White House today.

“Sad”

I agree.

This guy was obviously from a troubled background, rose above it, but could not quite escape.

Very sad.
