Postmodernism is the scourge of humanity, it’s taken over academia and breaking out in the general culture. It’s anti reality and totally irrational. It’s worse than communism.

I’ve seen them. He is great... and courageous.
Postmodernism is similar to Islam in that the totalitarian political and religious ideology is held up as too holy to criticize while demanding utter allegiance, leading to cognitive dissonance or conspiracy theories just to maintain the utter and complete “truth” of Islam/social justice.

I see it as the antithesis of Islam. Islam is rigid to the max. Postmodernism is anything goes - it’s about denying reality logic, cause and effect, truth, deconstructing (destroying) everything, relativism. It’s the ultimate nihilism.
That, in itself, is orthodoxy and, thereby, the similarity to Islam. At its core, post-modernism enlists the all-powerful state, just as Islam IS the state. Read Antonio Gramschi.
You have a strange definition of orthodoxy... Orthodoxy is the strict application of an ideology, ANY ideology.
And I’ve already read Gramsci.
Social justice warriors go around censoring people’s word choice, clothing styles, hair styles, dictating approved beliefs and engaging in mob shaming campaigns to violence to enforce the dogma they imbue with religious fervor.
