She didn’t appear to be much of a threat - high heels and skinny. I didn’t see the need to hit her as such, even if her actions were idiotic. Also, was she drunk?
I stumbled upon the story in the Birmingham Mail which said it pulled the story from the Liverpool Echo. I checked both sites (which were virtually identical) and I couldn’t find any mention of her being intoxicated.
