In a novel coming out in June, the main character makes cattail blueberry jelly. She doesn't give the recipe, though, and doesn't even tell what part of the cattail she uses. It's the most popular of her homemade products (probably as a conversation piece, but she doesn't say that). Called The Marsh King's Daughter.

There's another one coming in August called Wild Mediterranean, which combines two current trends--wild foods and the Mediterranean diet. Lots of nutrition stuffs too. This one has loads of recipes and gorgeous photos.
