Growing up, Madonna always wanted to be in the spotlight. She got her wish after releasing her first, self-titled, album in 1983. Hit songs such as “Lucky Star,” “Burning Up,” “Borderline” and “Holiday” sent her soaring to worldwide fame. The beautiful blonde named Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, originally from Bay City, Michigan, was born on August 16, 1958 as one of seven kids from a strict Catholic family but tragically lost her mother to cancer when she was only seven years old. She overcame hardship and thrived to reach her goal of conquering the world by the age of 24. She is twice divorced, having previously been married to actor Sean Penn and English director Guy Ritchie. She has four children — Lourdes, Rocco, David and Mercy.

Madonna has released 12 studio albums to date. Some of her earliest works have led to her superstardom. For instance, True Blue, which was released in 1986, saw a number of top 40 hits, including the title track, “La Isla Bonita,” “Live to Tell,” “Open Your Heart” and “Papa Don’t Preach.” Her latest effort, MDNA, was released on March 23, 2012. She is one of the richest celebrities in America and the world. So far, in 2013, she has earned a net worth of approximately $500 million. She has earned her fortune not only with her music but through a perfume and clothing line and investments in art, real estate and the beverage company Vita Coco.

Madonna has also appeared on the silver screen in several movies. These include 1984’s Desperately Seeking Susan, 1986’s Shanghai Surprise alongside then husband Sean Penn, 1987’s Who’s That Girl, 1992’s A League of Their Own, 1996’s Evita and 2000’s The Next Best Thing being the most notable.....

Madonna doesn’t exactly write her own songs. At most she comes up with a core idea and some lyrics, and others turn it into a song.

“I like her early stuff. :)”

This is one of the problems we have today. People are willing to “overlook” the fact that someone is a POS because they have some sort of talent as a performer. It’s why we let worthless minorities who know how to manipulate some sort of “ball” get away with behavior that is unacceptable because they are “atheletes.” I had an employee ( a professional engineer) years ago who said he “knew” that OJ Simpson didn’t kill his wife and Ron Goldman “because he was a sports figure!”
So maybe you can “like” Madonna’s “early stuff,” but realize that in so doing you are supporting a woman who has zero respect for her country. Personally, I wouldn’t pi$$ on her if she was on fire!
