In another story out of India, Christians were having services when a group of Hindus with the help of police attacked them and ransacked their Church: Police in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh stopped a church event after a Hindu nationalist organization alleged a person was converting to Christianity at the event.
Uttar Pradesh is the most populous of India’s states, but Christians make up less than 1 percent of the population. Overall Christians represent 2.3 percent of all Indians, though given the country’s vast population, that works out to almost 30 million people.
The right-wing Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV) filed a complaint against Yohannan Adam, the pastor of the church, accusing him of converting Hindus to Christianity. It’s a charge Adam denied.
The HYV was set up in 2002 by Yogi Adityanath, who now serves as chief minister of the state.<<<

That’s the Westboro Baptist Church, and if you look at at closely, they are less a church and more of a 1A lawsuit scam set up by a Democrat lawyer, masquerading as a church. Worth knowing for the next time some Leftist uses them to exemplify the supposed evils of Christianity.
Hindus are pretty unpleasant.They are nasty to Christians in general because Christianity challenges their fatalism and their accursed caste system.
You should see what one Hindu will do to another.. the class system there produces immense suffering that is not sexy enough to be reported on. It also may have some regional variance with the border area near Pak being a whole different ballgame.
The British Empire was far more about the empire than Christianity. Arguably, it acted in defiance of Christianity.
I agree. I also think colonialism did a lot of good things for India. But the comment I responded to was about Christians, not Christianity. That standard should be applied to Hindus too. When a small percentage do stuff like this it doesn’t reflect the whole religion, unlike Islam which is aggressive at it’s core. And the statement that Christians always mind their own business is pretty absurd since at one time Christians pretty much ran the whole world.
