It is the generation of weaklings who sues for everything when they get their “feelings” hurt......this generation is never going to have a backbone to serve or to protect this country....ever!
Last week I rented ‘You Can’t Take It With You” a film from the thirties with Jimmy Stewart and written by Kaufmann and Hart. Filmed in the Thirties, I think it was a Broadway show in the thirties too.
Throughout the film there was a running gag by the cook’s black boyfriend about he didn’t want to move to a new area until he could be assured that the area had “relief.”
Amazed me to see that this theme has been playing out for many years.
They tried stopping me at Wally World once. I told them I don’t have time for it and continued to walk out the door.
I thought so. Which did you work for prior to the merger?
Up until the merger was Safeway the parent company of
Vons?

“I felt completely demoralized,”
That’s happened to me before when the person ahead of me with the cart full of frozen crab legs and steak rings up $100+ on the bill and pays with EBT food stamps.
I can see how this mistake was made. All one has to do is stand in line at the grocery store to how it could be pretty common asumption

Just another African con-job. Africans have stereotyped themselves and they expect others not to notice.
It is not the clerks fault. Africans stereotype themselves. Other people simply observe the stereotype.
There is no African in this story.
Says African in the first sentence. What are you talking about?
I’ve had salespersons who asked if I want the Seniors discount. I laughed and said “I don’t ask for anything.” I guess I should have sued?

Must be giving better ‘training’ on my side of the country. Don’t see many asking me if I want Senior or Military discount even though I do look over 50/60 and wear a hat.
Couple years ago I was in a Wendys and a Black lady was having a ‘problem’ with a ‘Hispanic’ clerk and a White guy came out of the back (Manager) said situation under control, took my order and offered my ‘senior discount’ (I had been in the store a few times before)
...The Black lady snapped around said “I didn’t get that offer”...
as if on cue, the Manager said.
“Surely madam, you are NOT over 50 are you” and handed her a coupon or two.
BIG smile from her, and she was chuckling while walking out.
I threw my two cents in (to the Manager)..”Lie much???”
